OK, I know this album is from 2025, but it's still stuck in my head. One of the best upcoming bands in the new wave of emo.

Pink Breath of Heaven is one of the coolest new Shoegaze bands I've heard recently. Colors Make a Sound is their first full length, and I love it start to finish. If they are playing near you, go see them live before they get huge.

The first time I heard The Twilight Sad was opening for the Cure in 2022. They've been around for a long time, so that was a failure on my part. I immediately devoured their catalogue. Imagine my delight when they released a new album this year, even if it is heavy (written around the death of the singer's mother) and dark. It's an incredibly beautiful album.

Nora Weatherfield is an up and coming LA artist who seems to have emerged fully formed, with her own unique sound. Her songs are beautiful and haunting. I can't wait for a full length from her.
